Any foreign person or business can establish a company in Hungary,  without any restriction or a permit by local authorities. It is also possible for any foreign person to work in his own company in Hungary, but in this case, he needs a work permit. The work permit application currently has to be done as part of the residency application. The procedure is quite complex and time-consuming, so make sure you speak to us if you are planning to work in Hungary or are looking to employ a foreigner. If the owner or the general manager of a company has obtained the residence permit in Hungary, the members of his family can apply for a residence permit for the purpose of family reunification.

BUSINESS PLAN

 

  If a newly established company intends to hire a Non-EU citizen, the application for residence and work permit has to include a business plan on the company's future business. Our staff can prepare a business plan for the purposes of your residence and work permit application.  

  Except as provided for by law, an application for a residence permit may be submitted to any consulate officer of Hungary, or at any other place authorized to accept applications for residence permit located in the country where the applicant's permanent or temporary residence is located, or in the country of the applicant's nationality.
